Darryl Sanderson

Appointed 2000
A native of Baton Rouge, Darryl and his wife, Jerylin - raised in Joplin, MO, have been married since 1979. Darryl and Jerilyn have both been active servants in the church for years. They have three children - Meredith, Stefanie and Chris, and 7 grandchildren.

Chuck Morris

Appointed 2009
Chuck and his wife, Leah have been members at South since our beginnings. Chuck is a graduate of LSU, a CPA, and the Branch Manager of a local office of Raymond James Financial Services. They have two children - 'Baby' Leah and Micah, and have 2 grandchildren.

Ronnie Fitzgerald

Appointed 2018
Ronnie and his wife, Cheryl, both graduated from LSU and it was during their college days they began attending South.  They have been married for 40+ years and have two sons, Matt and Austin.  Matt served as a missionary in Honduras but sadly passed away during the COVID pandemic.  They also have four wonderful grandchildren that help keep them “young”.  Ronnie enjoys travel, hiking, yard work and spending time with friends and family. 

Lance Hendrix

Appointed 2018
Lance and his wife, Becky have been married since 1994. He moved to Baton Rouge and began attending South in 1983. After attending Harding University, he transferred to LSU to complete his degree in Landscape Architecture. Lance and Becky have a son, Peyton and a daughter, Marylee - both who attend LSU.
In free time, Lance enjoys working in the yard and hosting 'watch parties' or other events in his home.  

Brian Anderson

Appointed 2023
Brian and his wife Maryellen have been married since 1993 and have two amazing children, Grant and Chloe. They have been members of South for over 30 years. Brian grew up in Indiana and moved to Baton Rouge after graduating from college to work as an engineer. He enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

John Fu

Appointed 2023
John and his wife, Grace were born in China, and have been married since 1989. They have two wonderful children, William and Joy. They have been members of South since 1995. John graduated from LSU and currently works as a civil engineer. In his free time, John enjoys playing tennis and fishing.
