Don & Lynda Stewart's Friend - (Updated: Wednesday, 3/17/2010)
Don & Lynda's friend, Sarah, had surgery to remove a tumor on her liver. The tests results were benign and she is going home from the hospital today, Wednesday. Praise God!! Now she can continue planning her wedding for July.
Anne Dunn's Friend - (Updated: Tuesday, 3/16/2010)
Sylvia Cangelosi had open heart surgery last weekend. Her chest was open and monitored for three days. She made it through that but now is having difficulty breathing on her own. She is still in very serious condition.
Debbie Tudor's Mother - (Updated: Tuesday, 3/16/2010)
Debbie's mother was admitted to the hospital in Shreveport Monday night. She has been having a lot of colon pain to go along with other problems. She will have to be there a few days for some tests to find out what is causing so much pain.
David Smith - (Updated: Monday, 3/15/2010)
David went home on Friday. He is doing really well. He goes back to the doctor in 3 weeks & will probably have back-up chemo therapy.
Joe Mitchen - (Updated: Monday, 3/15/2010)
Joe was in Houston attending a wedding when he fell and fractured his ankle in two places. He is going to the orthopedic surgeon today, Monday.
David Finch has Surgery - (Updated: Monday, 3/15/2010)
David's surgery went well on Friday, March 12th. He went home Sunday morning to continue recovery there. Thank you for your prayers.
Mary (Murphy) Morales - (Updated: Friday, 3/12/2010)
Mary is suffering premature labor. She is at Woman's Hospital. They were able to stop the contractions with medication. She many have to have bed rest until the baby is more developed. Please pray for Mary, her family and their unborn baby girl.
Lacey Brunson - (Updated: Friday, 3/12/2010)
Doctors fear an infection in Lacey’s leg has developed because of the fever and white blood cell that dropped to zero. She was rushed to the hospital the other night and has been on fluids and antibiotics ever since.
Doctors are discussing a possible redo of surgery to take out current rods and put in new ones. Fear is that the rods were contaminated or the body is just having a hard time excepting artificial parts.
Some of doctors want to wait and see because x-rays show no infection near rods, but they don’t know why she’s in so much pain when it’s been a month since her surgery.
Some pain is normal, but she is having excruciating pain that is not easily relieved without pain meds by mouth and IV.

Laurie Rester, Lora Taylor's niece, has declined and will be receiving Hospice services at Lora's home.

- Don Stewart's Brother [Updated: 3/16/2010] - Don's brother, Bob, is taking hormone treatments for cancer. He received a good report from doctors in March and will continue treatments for another year.
- Della Comeaux's Son-in-law [Updated: 3/15/2010] - Jim McMillan had a stroke Monday at the base of his brain. Jim lives in Springfield, IL. Della was a long time member at South but moved away to be near her family. She requests our prayers for Jim.
- Brandy Vazquez Family [Updated: 3/10/2010] - Brandy's 5 yr. old nephew, Ryan Colligan, was burned. He is now home but needs prayers for healing and that he won't scar.
Her sister, Dawn Roshto, is 24 weeks in her pregnancy with twins. She is beginning labor, much too early, and is in Woman's Hospital to stop the labor.
- Cliff Cole's Dad [Updated: 3/10/2010] - Ed, Cliff's dad, had a heart cath Monday in Ft. Walton, FL. Blockages were found & he had 2 stints put in Wednesday. He will begin therapy and is out of the woods. He has a small aneurism they will deal with after he recovers from the surgery
- Allen Smith (Long time member at McComb [Updated: 3/10/2010] - Allen is a long time member at the McComb Church of Christ. He has just been diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. Jim & Pat Talbert (former members) request that we put him on our prayer list.
- Brian Reed's Mother [Updated: 3/10/2010] - Brian's mother, Judy, is having kidney trouble. She had dialysis on Friday and is doing a lot better. She goes back to the doctor Wednesday to determine is she will continue with that treatment.
- Donna Anderson, Former Member [Updated: 3/4/2010] - Donna's doctor's report showed that the five week strong antibiotic treatment worked and got rid of her staph infection. She has another four to five months of slow and long recovery but should be in good shape at the end of this stretch. She wanted each of you to know how much she appreciated all your prayers and concerns. I also need to Thank each of you for all the support and understanding during this crisis in our lives.
She and I have a big smile on our faces now. Thanks again and keep her in your prayers until her recovery is finished would be most appreciated.

- Richard Horner's Daughter - Teal [Updated: 2/8/2010] - Teal is now home taking therapy.
- Pat Pitre's Daughter-in-law [Updated: 2/1/2010] - Nan Pitre is out of ICU now in BR General rehab, making progress after surgical complications.

- Glenda Tate's uncle [Updated: 1/11/2010] - Bob Walker, Glenda's uncle in Florida, has been in the hospital for a while and was recently diagnosed with Cancer.
