Ross Pruitt Surgery - (Updated: Saturday, 7/31/2010)
Ross Pruitt had surgery early this morning (Saturday)at Our Lady of the Lake to repair a detached retina. The surgery went well. The injury seems to have been caused due to a sky diving trip he just returned from in Colorado. He will be staying with Tim and Julie Ashton today.
Robin Cook - (Updated: Friday, 7/30/2010)
Robin is going to be having some testing done (out-patient) for her high blood pressure. She request prayers that these go well and that they get an answer as to why she is having trouble controlling it.
Iva Allen - (Updated: Thursday, 7/29/2010)
Good news! The neurosurgeon told Iva that she has to wear the brace for at least another month but that eventually she should be able to walk again. She was able to stand for 6 minutes today and is feeling much stronger. She really appreciates getting the bulletin.
Iva is at Olle Steele Burden Manor Nursing Home.
Ellen Bargona - (Updated: Thursday, 7/29/2010)
Sister of Willie Andrews, mother of Monteal Carson, fell Sunday morning and broke her hip. It is uncertain at this time what will be done for her. She is 92-years-old and lives in Natchez.
Mike Reeves' Cousin - (Updated: Thursday, 7/29/2010)
Mike's cousin, Katy 22 yrs., has eye cancer. She had a treatment in Boston where they sew protons around the tumor. Katy began radiation treatments on her eye this week in Boston. They will continue through Friday. One possibility is the complete loss of eyesight without warning. She is hopeful that the results will be favorable. She asks for prayers for safe travel, to give her peace, to reduce the pain, and to eliminate her fear of the procedure.
Virginia Pursley - (Updated: Wednesday, 7/28/2010)
Virginia is in Ochsner Medical Center. She is so much better and misses everyone here. Please pray that regains her strength.
Lacey Brunson - (Updated: Wednesday, 7/28/2010)
Lacey is able to get out of the wheelchair and walk everywhere, but the side effect is that she gets tired of walking to all of her hospital appointments. Her heart has to get back in shape as she walks more her heart muscle will get stronger. Lacey's hair had grown back but Monday night began falling out again. She is very discouraged. Lacey has about 6 more weeks left before they get to come home.
Andre' Felix - (Updated: Wednesday, 7/28/2010)
Andre' had surgery last week on his hand. He is doing well. He goes back to the doctor Thursday, July 29th to determine how he is healing.
"Little Al" Rankins - (Updated: Tuesday, 7/27/2010)
"Little A" is the nephew of a co-worker of Tad Hardy's. He has a brain tumor & soon will start chemo at St. Jude's. Please keep him in prayer for his healing.
Andre'Felix - (Updated: Monday, 7/26/2010)
Andre' had successful surgery Thursday, 21st, on his wrist. Two pins were placed and two torn ligaments repaired. He has some discomfort but is doing well.
Answered Prayers - (Updated: Friday, 7/23/2010)
Jazzlyn Giggens, the 9-month-old great niece of Prissy Felix, had a brain aneurysm, which lead to the discovery of a brain tumor. She had surgery Wed., July 21st, which removed the tumor. She is doing great and should be moved from the NICU on Saturday to a regular room.

- Alex Kearney [Updated: 7/29/2010] - Alex was injured in a bonfire accident on July 4th. He has second degree burns on 30% of his body. He was released from the hospital Friday. in Jacksonville, FL remains in poor health and does not seem to be improving.
- Robin Cook's Brother-in-law [Updated: 7/13/2010] - James Wilson is doing better and and is now at home recovering from his illness.
- Jerry McKernan [Updated: 7/9/2010] - Jerry, friend of Donnie & Veris Batie, was doing some better but had to go back to ICU due to fluid on his lungs. The doctors checked the heart value and it looked good. He is on several antibiotics due to a superbug. Continued prayers for his complete healing are appreciated.
- Sandra Traylor's Sister [Updated: 7/8/2010] - Johanna Solis has been on peritoneal dialysis for a while; she is urgently requesting prayers for a suitable kidney donor to be found soon. She is already on a donor waiting list but she has been informed that it could take years to find the right kidney. She has been on our prayer request list in the past for other related medical issues. Please pray for her!
- Phoebe Weaver's Nephew [Updated: 7/8/2010] - Phoebe's nephew has recently been diagnosed bi-polar. Lift him up in prayer.
- Bob Heitzenrater's Brother [Updated: 7/8/2010] - Bill Heitzenrater, will have his pacemaker replaced this Friday. Bill lives in Kansas. Pray for successful surgery.
- Grandmother of Lisa Lee and Lauri Gammon [Updated: 7/8/2010] - Lisa and Lauri’s grandmother, Jane Ann Stein, is in serious condition in an Indiana hospital. Please keep Jane Ann and her entire family in your prayers.
- Annie Mamon [Updated: 6/22/2010] - Glenda Tate's friend, Annie, has kidney cancer. She will have surgery to remove the tumors.
- Sally Palmer's Mother [Updated: 6/15/2010] - Laura Tooke Graham, Sally's mother, fell and broke her knee cap and injured her face. She will be using a walker for the next 6 weeks as her knee heals. X-Ray next week will determine if she will need a cast. She lives in Lafayette.
- Glenda Tate's brother [Updated: 6/8/2010] - Ed Walker, Glenda's brother, has a mass on his esophagus. New tests show that it is stage 3 cancer that is treatable. He will begin treatments soon. Please, remember him in your prayers. He lives in Huntsville, AL.
- Nancy Ross' Sister [Updated: 6/8/2010] - Nancy's sister, Betty Nelson, is under Hospice care. She lives in Kansas.
- Sylvia Cangelosi [Updated: 6/8/2010] - Sylvia, a friend of Anne Dunn's, had heart surgery and is in need of prayers as the recovery is long and hard. Her husband, AJ, needs prayers also, as he cares for her.
- Friends and Family of Darlene August [Updated: 6/8/2010] - Debbie Lavene, Darlene August's sister-in-law, has an inoperable brain tumor. She will return to the doctor on Wed., to find out about treatment. She had this in the past and was able to shrink it, but it is growing again.
Jollie Amedee, the daughter of Darlene's boss,had surgery to place a rod in her spine due to scoliosis Tuesday. Please pray for their healing.
- Grace Mae Lee [Updated: 6/8/2010] - Judy Parish's 4 yr. old great niece, Grace Mae, will have brain surgery May 28th.
Judy's brother-in-law, Danny Koontz had heart surgery last week.
- Sylvia Polozola [Updated: 6/8/2010] - Charlotte Hue's sister, Sylvia, has kidney cancer. Recently one scan Sylvia had on her lower back turned out not to be cancer. Great News! .
- Joyce Geason, [Updated: 6/8/2010] - Glenn Allen's co-worker, Joyce Geason, has breast & liver cancer. She is beginning chemo.
- Clovis Ingram [Updated: 5/25/2010] - Clovis Ingram, the father of Joe Patin's boss, will soon to have a cancer procedure.
- Brian Barnard [Updated: 5/18/2010] - Jason Barnard's brother, Brian, was in a very bad motorcycle accident & has brain damage as well as other injuries. Over the past few days, Brian has been realizing the pains and limitations of his injuries. We have tried numerous communication tools, but the facial and brain injuries have made them unproductive. Please pray for his inner peace and healing as he continues the process of healing. He welcomes your prayers as he fights this long battle.
- Pat Raines' Niece [Updated: 5/17/2010] - Karen Wade, Pat's niece, was diagnosed with the most aggressive kind of breast cancer; however, it was found early. She had surgery Tuesday in Tupelo, MS & the cancer had not spread. Please keep all the family in your prayers. She is the younger daughter of Pat's brother, Ralph Perry, a former member at South.
- Lisa Patin's Mother [Updated: 5/11/2010] - Lisa's mother has deteriorating health problems.
- Richard Horner's Daughter - Teal [Updated: 4/16/2010] - Teal is now home taking therapy. She is making some improvement and will be able to graduate High School with her class.
- Amanda Brymer [Updated: 4/13/2010] - Janie Lawson's 19 yr. old great niece, has a condition called POTS. It is an autonomic nerve system disorder that is very debilitating and has no very effective threatment.
- Linn Herman's Father [Updated: 1/11/2010] - Glen Herman, Linn's father, continue to pray for him.
- Jeanne Beatty's Mother [Updated: 9/28/2009] - Jeanne's mother, Nasa LeBlanc, is in the hospital. Jeanne requests prayers for her mother and father.
